About Us

We are a group in Bournemouth, set up by people with a wide range of political beliefs to work together in furthering Transgender Rights. We organise protests, run social events, and more!

We were founded in early 2024 in response to the lack of a protest around guidance that schools should out transgender children. In the time since we have organised several successful protests in Bournemouth, and made a big impact on the local community.

11th May Protest against the Supreme Court Judgement

Trans Liberation Bournemouth is organising a protest against the Supreme Court judgement changing the protections in the equality act that help keep trans people safe, as well as the subsequent transphobia from the EHRC, the media and politicians.  The protest will take place on the 11th Of May,  in The Triangle, Bournemouth . There will be speeches, starting from 2pm, and a march starting at 2:30 from The Triangle to the Pier. See below for an interactive map of the route.   Trans Liberation Bournemouth is not affiliated with any particular ideology or party, and anyone who wants to oppose transphobia, trans or ally is more than welcome at the event.
